How to enable Xbox 360 controller on CS:GO

Actually, just plug it in and most of the time it works out of the box. CS:GO isn't picky. If it doesn't, you might need to troubleshoot your controller or PC settings, not CS:GO.

Nah, keyboard and mouse is the way. Controllers are for casuals. But hey, you do you.

First up, you gotta make sure your Xbox 360 controller is plugged in or connected via Bluetooth. Then, open up CS:GO and head to the settings menu. Look for the 'Controller' tab – that's where the magic happens. You might need to tick a box or flip a switch in the game settings to get it working. Also, open the console in CS:GO (you can enable it in the game settings if it's not already) and type in 'exec controller.360.cfg' to load the controller configs. Sometimes it's plug-and-play, but other times you need to summon your inner tech wizard.
