To get your Chingling to evolve into Chimecho in Pokemon Scarlet, you need to level it up with high friendship during the night. Just a heads up, it really has to be NIGHT time in your game for Chingling to evolve. Daytime leveling won't work even if you've maxed out friendship. Learned this the hard way lol.

Honestly, just walk around with it and keep it happy. Friendship evolutions are easier than you think. Just avoid making it faint!
