To evolve Coalossal in Pokemon Violet, you actually need to start with its previous forms. First, catch a Rolycoly and evolve it into Carkol at level 18. Then, evolve Carkol into Coalossal when it reaches level 34. Just keep leveling up, and you'll get that towering, coal-covered titan in no time!

Got my Coalossal by accident lol. Was just leveling up my team and boom, Carkol evolved. Wasn't even paying attention to the levels. So yeah, just play and level up; works like a charm.
