Trust me, the grind is real but so worth it. Got my Gible to evolve by constantly battling around the Paldea region. Took a bit, but once you hit level 24, it evolves into Gabite. Keep an eye on the XP, and maybe use an XP candy if you're impatient like me!

Just get Gible to level 24. Simple.

Evolving Gible into Gabite in Pokemon Scarlet is straightforward. All you gotta do is level up Gible to level 24. Just keep battling and gaining XP, and before you know it, you'll have a Gabite on your hands. After that, getting Garchomp is the next goal, and you can achieve that by leveling up Gabite to level 48. Time to start grinding!
