Actually, it's not about the time of day. Hisuian Zorua evolves with high friendship, period. Leveled mine up at night and it worked just fine.

To evolve Hisuian Zorua in Pokemon Violet, you just gotta make sure it loves you enough! Raise Hisuian Zorua's friendship level by battling together, feeding it its favorite berries, and avoiding letting it faint in battles. Once you've hit the high friendship mark, level it up during the day, and voila, you'll get yourself a Hisuian Zoroark.
