I evolved my Mudbray around the mid-game. Honestly, it was super straightforward. Just battled a lot and kept it in my team for most of the early game. Hit level 30, and boom, Mudsdale entered the chat. Make sure it doesn't faint too much though, you want all the XP you can get!
