To evolve Scyther into Scizor in Pokémon Scarlet, you need to trade Scyther while it's holding a Metal Coat. You can find Metal Coats scattered around the Paldea region or buy them at certain in-game shops. Once you've got one, just equip it to your Scyther, find a friend to trade with, and voilà, you'll have yourself a Scizor!

Actually, I evolved my Scyther into Scizor by trading with a buddy. The tricky part was finding that Metal Coat, but after some good old fashioned exploring, I snagged one. Trading was smooth, and now my Scizor's my go-to Pokémon in battles. Totally worth the effort!
