Executing a cfg in CS:GO is pretty straightforward. First, make sure your cfg file is in the correct folder, usually something like 'Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\cfg'. Then, open the game and bring up the console by pressing the tilde (~) key. Type 'exec filename.cfg', replacing 'filename' with the name of your cfg file. Hit enter, and you're all set!

Just drop your cfg file into the cfg folder and type 'exec name_of_file.cfg' in the console. Make sure you've enabled the console in your game settings first!

tbh, u only need to exec a cfg if ur really into customizing ur gameplay. most casual players don't bother.
