How to figure out sensitivity in CS:GO

Start with the basics! Jump into a game (preferably offline with bots or in a practice map) and set your sensitivity to a middle-ground number. From there, it's all about adjustment. If you feel like you're swinging past enemies too quickly, lower it. If you're dragging behind, raise it. Fine-tuning is key. Spend some time in aim training maps, adjusting bit by bit until it feels just right. Remember, muscle memory is your friend here, so give it some time!

Honestly, just copy the pros. Not even kidding. Find a pro player whose play style you like and start with their settings. It's a good baseline, and you can tweak from there. But remember, what works for them might not work for you. Personal tweaks are necessary.

Tracking your movement across the mousepad can help. Measure how far your mouse moves for a full 360 in-game turn. Adjust until you can comfortably do a 360 with one, smooth motion on your pad. This method helped me a lot, especially for getting a sense of control and not over-aiming.

3 words: Lower is better. High sensitivity might seem cool, but it's the lower settings that give you the precision you need to hit those headshots. Aim small, miss small.
