How to find the location of a CS:GO server

Easy! When you're in a game, open the console by pressing the ` key (left of the 1 key). Type 'status' and hit enter. You'll see a bunch of info pop up, including the server IP. Pop that IP into any IP location tracker website, and voila, you've got your server location!

Honestly, don't sweat it too much. Valve's matchmaking does a pretty solid job of placing you in a server with a good ping, which usually means it’s close by. So, unless you're experiencing issues, you might not need to track down the exact location.

Just use a server browser addon or mod. There are plenty out there that display the server location right away. Easy peasy.
