How to find the perfect resolution for CS:GO

Honestly, the 'perfect' resolution in CS:GO is super subjective and really depends on your personal preference and what you're comfortable with. A lot of players swear by the classic 4:3 stretched because it makes player models appear slightly larger (easier to hit, they say), but you do sacrifice peripheral vision. Then there's the 16:9 crowd who loves the extra FOV, saying it helps with spotting enemies better. My advice? Experiment! Try out different resolutions and see which one feels right. And remember, your aim will adjust over time, so give each resolution a fair shot before you switch.

Just use 1920x1080. Why complicate life? Higher resolution, crisp visuals, and it’s what your monitor probably uses natively. Done and dusted.

4:3 stretched, no question. Makes enemies look like they’ve been hitting the gym too hard, so they’re easier to spot and hit. All the pros are doing it, so why not?
