How to fix connection problems in CS:GO
Best answer
FirewallFred
Make sure your firewall isn't blocking CS:GO. Sometimes, your firewall updates and suddenly decides it doesn't like CS:GO anymore. Add an exception for CS:GO or temporarily disable your firewall to see if that's the issue. If it fixes it, make sure to add an exception for CS:GO in your firewall settings!

First thing, always check your internet connection. A simple router reset can sometimes do wonders. If that doesn't solve it, try verifying the integrity of game files through Steam. Right-click CS:GO in your Steam library, go to properties, then local files, and click 'Verify integrity of game files'. Sometimes, files get corrupted and this will fix it right up.

Another quick fix is to change your DNS settings. Google DNS or Cloudflare (8.8.8.8 and 1.1.1.1 respectively) are generally more stable and faster than what your ISP might offer. This little change can improve your connection stability significantly.

Just use an ethernet cable, WiFi is too unreliable for gaming IMO.

Honestly, sometimes the servers are just having a bad day. So maybe take a break, and try again later?
