Simple solution: restart your game. A lot of times, it's just a minor glitch that gets fixed with a quick restart. If that fails, check your key binds. You might've accidentally changed the control for X.

Is this really a thing? I spam X all the time for quick buys, never had an issue. Check your autoexec.cfg file, you might have some weird bind saved.

Just rebind it, lol. Go to settings > keyboard/mouse > find the command > bind it to X. EZ.

Had the same issue! What worked for me was restarting CS:GO and checking if the game files were corrupted.
