How to Fix CS:GO Ping Lag

Fixing ping lag in CS:GO can be kinda like a fine art, but let's stick to the basics to get you back in action ASAP. First, try restarting your router - it's tech support 101, but it works wonders. If that doesn't do the trick, check if your network's on a wired connection instead of WiFi for a more stable connection. Also, don’t forget to close any bandwidth-heavy apps or downloads running in the background. They’re like bandwidth vampires for your game. If none of that helps, you might wanna consider contacting your ISP; there could be issues on their end.

Honestly, just move closer to your router. If your gaming setup is on the other side of the house from your router, you're just asking for lag. I moved my setup next to my router, and it was like night and day.

Sometimes the simplest solutions are the best: just use a wired connection. WiFi is convenient but can be unreliable for fast-paced games like CS:GO.
