Ping spikes in CS:GO can be a real drag, but there are a few tricks to smooth things out! First, make sure to use an Ethernet cable instead of WiFi - it's way more stable. Then, close any background apps eating up your bandwidth, like streaming services or downloads. You can also try lowering your in-game settings to reduce stress on your system. And don't forget to check if your router needs a reset or firmware update, sometimes it's the simplest fixes that do the trick!

I had the same issue and what worked for me was changing my DNS settings to Google's public DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4). It sounds technical but it's actually pretty simple and there are tons of guides online. After I switched, my ping stabilized and the game felt a lot smoother. Worth a try!
