Just disable your second monitor when playing CS:GO. Quick, simple, and foolproof. If CS:GO is life, who needs a second monitor during a match, right?

Had the same issue where CS:GO would minimize or I'd accidentally click on my second monitor mid-game. Easy fix: play in Fullscreen (Windowed) mode. This way, you can easily alt-tab to other apps without the game minimizing. Also, check your game settings to make sure it's set to the correct monitor. Worked for me!

Honestly, just play in Fullscreen mode. If you're serious about CS:GO, you don't want anything messing with your focus, including errant clicks on a second monitor. Plus, it gives the best performance and immersion.

I went into my graphics card control panel (NVIDIA Control Panel for me) and set CS:GO to only display on my primary monitor. Make sure your main monitor is set as the primary display in your computer's display settings too. This stopped the game from accidentally minimizing or losing focus for me.
