How to fix mic buzz in CS:GO
Best answer
TechGuru89
First thing, check if your mic buzz is only in CS:GO or all applications. If it's just CS:GO, try resetting your audio settings in the game. Sometimes it's just a weird setting throwing everything off. Also, update your audio drivers. Outdated drivers often cause weird issues. Lastly, try disabling any audio enhancements on your microphone through the Windows Sound Control Panel. Sometimes those enhancements do more harm than good, especially in games.

Had this issue last month! Turned out my mic was picking up interference from other electronic devices. I moved my setup around, so my phone and speakers weren't too close to my mic. Worked like a charm! Also, make sure your cable isn't running alongside power cables; that can cause buzz too.

Just get a new mic, lol. If it's buzzing, it's probably old or broken. Save yourself the headache.
