First, try restarting your router - it's the classic turn-off-and-on-again method but works wonders more often than not. If that doesn't help, check if other devices on your network are hogging the bandwidth. Streaming, downloads, or even heavy browsing can eat into your speed. Finally, connect directly with an Ethernet cable if you're on wifi. It's way more stable.

To all saying 'just get better internet' - it's not always that simple. Some folks are in areas with limited options. So, a good VPN can actually help stabilize your ping by providing a more direct route to the game server than your ISP might.

Unstable ping? Move closer to the server. Literally. Pack your bags and set up camp next door. Okay, maybe extreme, but seriously, server distance does matter.

Make sure your CS:GO and graphics drivers are up to date! Outdated drivers can cause all kinds of performance issues, including ping spikes.

Check for background applications that might be using your network. Downloads or updates happening in the background can really mess with your ping. Pausing or stopping them while you play can make a big difference.
