First thing, check if your mic is set as the default device in your sound settings. Right-click the sound icon on your taskbar, go to 'Sounds', then the 'Recording' tab, and make sure your mic is the default device. Also, in CS:GO, hit 'Settings', go to 'Audio Settings', and check if the correct device is selected for the 'Microphone'. If it still doesn't work, try verifying the integrity of game files in Steam. Right-click CS:GO in your Steam library, go to 'Properties', then 'Local Files', and hit 'Verify integrity of game files'.

Sometimes it's the simplest things—we forget to unmute ourselves! Double-check you don't have yourself muted in CS:GO's audio settings or on your mic/headset itself. Been there, done that.
