Restarting your computer might seem like overkill but it'll definitely close CS:GO if nothing else works.

If CS:GO is being stubborn and won't close the normal way, try hitting 'Ctrl + Shift + Esc' to open Task Manager, find CS:GO in the list of processes, and hit 'End Task'. Works like a charm every time!

Alt+F4 is the classic quick fix. If that fails, the nuclear option is always the Task Manager. Right-click that taskbar and get to it!
