How to Frame Cap CS:GO

Capping your FPS in CS:GO can help with consistency and reduce tearing. My go-to method is to use the console. First, enable the console from the game settings. Hit the `~` key to open it up and type `fps_max [number]` where `[number]` is the max FPS you want. 144 for 144Hz monitors, for example. Don't forget, setting it to 0 removes the limit completely, which is great if you don't want to cap at all!

I used to cap my FPS but found out it introduces input lag. Now I just let it run uncapped for the smoothest experience. Not all of us need to cap our frames, folks!

Just set `fps_max` to whatever frame rate cap you want in the console. Simple as that. Honestly, though, why cap it? Let those frames run wild!
