Just play on native resolution, guys. Why bother with 1024x768? Modern monitors are meant for so much more.

I actually play on 1024x768 stretched, feels like it makes targets bigger and easier to hit. Just go to your graphic card's control panel and set the scaling. Worked like a charm for me!

Easy peasy! First up, make sure CS:GO is closed. Then, right-click on your desktop and open your graphics card control panel (NVIDIA Control Panel or AMD Radeon Settings). Look for a section like 'Display' or 'Adjust desktop size and position'. In there, you'll find an option to set scaling mode to 'Full-screen'. Make sure to select the monitor you’re gaming on. After that, launch CS:GO, go to settings, set the resolution to 1024x768, and you should see it stretched across the whole screen. Remember to check the 'Override the scaling mode set by games and programs' box if you're using NVIDIA. Happy gaming!
