Actually, if you're aiming to get Quaxly in Pokemon Violet and you skipped it at the beginning, you're not totally out of luck. You could trade with someone who picked Quaxly in their game. I've done this with friends to complete our Pokédex. So hit up a trading forum or ask a friend who chose Quaxly in Scarlet to trade with you!
