To snag the Ability Shield in Pokémon Violet, you're gonna wanna keep an eye out for a Pokémon with the 'Mirror Herb' item or hit up those Tera Raid Battles. If a Pokémon holds Mirror Herb and gets hit with a stat-lowering move, boom! It copies the attacker's Ability, including shiny ones like Ability Shield. Don't snooze on Tera Raid Battles either; they can be a goldmine for rare items and Pokémon with unique abilities.

I remember farming Tera Raids for hours before I finally got my hands on a Mirror Herb. It was a grind, but totally worth it when my Pokémon copied Ability Shield from a wild encounter. Just be patient and keep at those raids!
