Just keep wandering around the mountains. Eventually, Bagon will pop up. Took me forever, but I found mine near a cave after a TON of searching. Good luck!

Bagon? More like Bye-gon, am I right? Honestly, unless you're super into Salamence, maybe focus on other dragons. Dreepy's another cool choice and way easier to get your hands on in Violet.

To snag yourself a Bagon in Pokemon Violet, you gotta head to the northern part of the Paldea region. Look for areas with rocky, mountainous terrains, since Bagon loves hanging out in caves and rugged spots. It's a bit rare, so you might need a little patience and maybe a couple of Repels to avoid other pesky Pokémon while you search.
