How to get a butterfly knife in CS:GO using commands
Best answer

The simplest way to get your hands on a butterfly knife in CS:GO for testing or just to flaunt it in a no-risk environment is through the magic of console commands. First, make sure the console is enabled in your game settings. Then, hit the tilde key (~) to open it up and type 'sv_cheats 1' to enable cheats (don't worry, it's safe in this context). Next, give yourself a butterfly knife by typing 'give weapon_knife_butterfly;ent_fire weapon_knife addoutput "classname weapon_knifegg"'. Remember, this beauty's only for looks and practice in private servers â don't try to bring it into competitive play or the ban hammer might find its way to you!

Just buy it, lol. Grinding for skins takes forever and the drop rates are abysmal. Plus, opening cases is basically gambling. Save up, find a nice one on the market, and treat yourself.

Nah, using commands for skins like the butterfly knife ain't worth it. Just detracts from the grind and satisfaction of earning it the right way. Plus, in competitive, it's skills that count, not flashy skins.
