Easy peasy! Right-click on your desktop, and go to 'NVIDIA Control Panel' or 'AMD Radeon Settings' based on your graphics card. Look for 'Display' -> 'Change resolution' or something similar, then 'Customize'. Here, you can create and test custom resolutions. After setting it up there, launch CSGO, go to settings, and select your fancy new resolution. Make sure to apply the changes, and boom, you're gaming at your own custom res!

Honestly, just play at the recommended resolution. Custom resolutions are overrated and can mess with your game.

Pro tip from someone who's been there: if you're trying for a custom resolution because you think it'll give you an edge—remember, comfort over everything. I tweaked mine for weeks and ended up going back to standard because it just felt better. Be sure to test different settings to find what truly suits your playstyle.
