As of my last check, Darkrai isn't available directly in Pokemon Scarlet through regular gameplay. However, Darkrai was offered as a Mystery Gift for players who also played Pokemon Legends: Arceus. If you've played Arceus and have a save file on your Switch, you could've snagged Darkrai as a Mystery Gift. Keep an eye on official Pokemon events and updates, though, because they sometimes offer special Pokémon like Darkrai for a limited time!

No can do, buddy. Darkrai's not just wandering around in the Paldea region waiting for a friendly hello. You gotta look out for those special events or promotions where they hand out legendary Pokémon like candy on Halloween.

I got Darkrai through the Mystery Gift function, but only cuz I played Pokemon Legends: Arceus first. It's all about those special events.
