Getting eggs in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is super fun and kinda like a surprise egg toy, but way cooler. Just head to any Pokemon Nursery (you'll find them as you explore; there's one early on near Los Platos), leave two compatible Pokemon there, and after a bit, you'll get an egg! Compatibility usually means they need to be of the same species or at least share an Egg Group.
