Yo, getting Magearna isn't like your everyday catch. First off, you gotta beat the main story – like, become the champion of the region and all that jazz. Then, get your hands on the 'Rotom Phone' in the game. You'll need to fill up that Pokedex with a whopping 400 Pokémon entries. Once you've done that, head over to the Research Station in Porto Marinada. Show your fully loaded Pokedex to Jacq, and bam, he'll reward you with a special Poke Ball to catch Magearna.

Honestly, I think stressing over completing the Pokedex just for Magearna isn't worth it. There're cooler Pokémon to chase!
