Scream Tail is actually exclusive to Pokemon Scarlet, not Violet. If you're playing Violet and wanna get your hands on this elusive critter, you're gonna need to find a buddy who's playing Scarlet to trade with you. Managed to snag a Scream Tail myself, but only cuz my friend has Scarlet and was willing to trade. Definitely recommend joining online forums or Discord groups where trainers are up for trading. That's how you'll get what you're looking for without needing to switch games.
