To catch Whiscash in Pokemon Violet, you first need to make sure you're fishing in the right spot! Whiscash is a Water/Ground type Pokémon, so it loves hanging out in large bodies of water. I've been playing for weeks and haven't seen a single Whiscash. I think it's almost a myth at this point. Maybe try evolving a Barboach instead. It's way easier.

Honestly, it's easier to evolve a Barboach into Whiscash. Barboach evolves at level 30, and you can find them way more often. Just catch a Barboach and grind those levels.
