I hatched my egg by literally just doing my daily gameplay, exploring and battling. Didn't even realize I was close till it started! Keep moving, maybe chase down some Tera Pokemon to speed it along. Certain Pokemon with the Flame Body ability like Fletchinder really do cut down hatching time. Caught one, kept it in my party with the egg, and boom, egg hatched way faster!
