Hyper Training with Bottle Caps is the way to go. I maxed out my team's IVs this way, and it's a game changer for competitive battles. Make sure your Pokémon is level 100 first though, or it's a no-go.

Just catch a Pokémon with high IVs to start. It's easier than fussing over Bottle Caps.
