How to install a config in CS:GO

Installing a config in CS:GO is pretty straightforward. First, you gotta find your config file, which is usually a '.cfg' file that you might've downloaded or got from a friend. Then, navigate to the CS:GO installation directory, and find the 'csgo' folder, then drop that file into the 'cfg' folder within. When you launch the game, open the console (usually by hitting the ` key) and type 'exec [configname].cfg', replacing [configname] with the name of your config file. Voila, you're all set!

Just drag and drop into the cfg folder, exec in console, and boom, you're golden. EZ.

You're overthinking it. Find cfg file, drop in CS:GO cfg folder, exec in console. Done.

Honestly, manual config setups are so 2012. Most pros now use autoexec files for more control and to ensure their settings carry over automatically. Just saying, might wanna level up your config game.
