Honestly, just fast travel. Open the map, pick where you wanna go that's not DLC territory, and boom, you're out. No need to overcomplicate it.

Tried leaving the DLC by walking once. Big mistake. Just use the Flying Taxi feature. Trust me, it saves so much time.

Leaving the DLC area in Pokemon Scarlet is pretty straightforward. All you gotta do is open up your map and select any location outside the DLC region, then use the Flying Taxi ability to fast travel there. Easy peasy!
