How to Look at EVs in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Checking EVs in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet isn't as direct as checking IVs, but it's not too complex either. First off, you gotta look for the Effort Ribbon lady in a Pokémon Center. She doesn't tell you the exact numbers but gives your Pokémon an Effort Ribbon if it's maxed out on EVs. Another way is to observe the stat increase after leveling up; larger than usual increases can indicate where you've invested EVs. Not perfect, but it gives you a rough idea.

Actually, you can kinda gauge your Pokémon's EVs by using Berries that lower EV points. If you feed your Pokémon a Berry that lowers a specific stat's EV, and it affects the stat, you know you've got EVs in that area. Keep track of the Berries you use, and you'll have a rough idea of your EV spread.

The easiest way to check EVs? Just feel it. If your Pokémon is hitting harder or tanking hits better than others of its species, you’re probably on the right track with your EV training. Numbers are overrated anyway.
