Last updated
Ever wondered how to create an end portal in Minecraft? This magical structure is your ticket to facing the Ender Dragon and exploring the mysterious End dimension. Let’s dive into how you can make your own end portal in the game.
If you’re trying to figure out how to construct an end portal in Minecraft, you’re ready for one of the biggest adventures the game offers. Follow these steps to unlock the gateway to The End.
Quick Guide to Making an End Portal
To make an end portal, you will need 12 end portal frames and 12 Eyes of Ender. First, find a stronghold in your world, as this is the only place you can set up an end portal. Use Eyes of Ender to locate these strongholds.
Once you’re in the stronghold, look for the portal room. It has a silverfish spawner and a lava pool. Place the end portal frames in a square (3×3, but with the corners missing). Then, insert an Eye of Ender into each frame by right-clicking. Make sure the eyes are facing inward. Once all eyes are set, the portal activates!
