Been there, done that. Trust me, mass releasing is a breeze once you get the hang of it. Follow the instructions to switch to multi-select and you'll clear your boxes in no time. Makes managing all those duplicate Pokémons way easier.

To mass release in Pokemon Violet, just open your Boxes in the game, then press the Y button to switch to 'Multi-Select' mode. Now you can select multiple Pokémon you want to release at once by highlighting them. Once you've selected all the Pokémon you're ready to part ways with, simply press the X button to bring up the 'Release' option, confirm your choice, and voila - mass release accomplished!
