To mass release Pokemon in Pokemon Violet, just head to a Pokemon Box in the game. Once there, press the X button to enter the multi-select mode. Then, you can select all the Pokemon you wanna say bye-bye to. After selecting them, just press the + button, and you'll see the option to 'Release'. Confirm your choice, and voila, mass release accomplished!

You got it all wrong, folks. Mass releasing Pokemon is not the best strategy. You're better off trading them or using them to fill your Pokedex. Just saying.
