Did you try turning it on in the settings? Gotta enable it first in the game options, then just press ~. If ~ doesn't work, your keyboard layout might be different, so check your key bindings.

Just press the ~ key. If nothing happens, you skipped step 1: Enable it in settings. Do that!

Easy peasy! First, make sure that the developer console option is enabled in the game settings. You can find it under Game Settings > Game > Enable Developer Console (~). Once it's enabled, just hit the tilde key (~) on your keyboard while in-game. It's usually the key right below the 'Esc' key. That'll bring up the command console, where you can type all your commands.

Honestly, just slap the tilde key (~), assuming you've turned on the option in settings. If you're not using it, you're missing out. Customizing your game, debugging issues, or just messing around – the command console is where it's at.
