How to Open CS:GO Demo Files

Opening CS:GO demo files is pretty straightforward once you get the hang of it. First, you need to locate your demo file which usually ends with a .dem extension. Place this file in your CS:GO's 'csgo' folder, which you can find under the game's installation directory. Next up, fire up CS:GO, open the console by pressing the tilde key (~), and type 'playdemo ' followed by the name of your demo. So, if your demo is called 'epicwin.dem', you'd type 'playdemo epicwin'. Happy viewing!

Honestly? I just watch streamers play. Much easier than fiddling with demo files.

Just drag and drop into the game lol, JK. You actually need to put the demo file in the 'csgo' folder and then open CS:GO. Use the console ('~' key) and type 'playdemo' followed by your demo's name. Remember, the console must be enabled in the game settings first!
