For defusing, swap teams! You're now a Counter-Terrorist. Find the planted bomb at either site A or B. Get close to it and press and hold the 'use' key (default is E) to start defusing. Remember, buying a defuse kit for $400 speeds up the process, cutting defuse time in half from 10 seconds to 5. Listen out for that beeping; it gets faster as the bomb gets closer to going boom.

To plant the bomb in CS:GO, you gotta be on the Terrorist side. Make sure you have the bomb (it shows as a bomb icon on your screen), then head to either Bomb Site A or B. Look for a bombsite marker on the ground, it's usually a big letter A or B. Once you're there, hold down your 'use' key (default is E) until the bomb is planted. Stay alive while it ticks down to win the round!
