To dive into co-op mode in Pokemon Scarlet, you gotta have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription first. Once you've got that, you can open the Poke Portal in your game menu. From there, choose 'Link Battle' or 'Link Trade' to connect with your pal. You can also set up a Union Circle, which allows up to four friends to join in and explore, battle, or trade together in the same game world. Just make sure everyone's on the same page about what adventure you're tackling!

Honestly, co-op in Scarlet is a bit overrated. The real fun is in the solo journey, where you get to make all the decisions and don't have to wait for anyone else. Just saying.
