To play CS:GO in 1440x1080, you gotta add a custom resolution in your graphics card settings first. NVIDIA users can do this in the NVIDIA Control Panel under 'Display' > 'Change resolution' > 'Customize...'. For AMD, it's in Radeon Settings under 'Display' > 'Custom Resolutions'. After setting it up, launch CS:GO, go to Options > Video Settings, and select the custom resolution. Make sure your monitor can handle it!

I'm just saying, but 1920x1080 is where it's at. Why downscale? Embrace the full HD!

The easy peasy way? Just set your desktop to 1440x1080 before launching the game. CS:GO usually picks up the desktop resolution automatically, so no need to fiddle with settings. If your game looks a bit stretched, that's part of the deal with this resolution.
