How to Play CS:GO on a Bad Laptop

Playing CS:GO on a not-so-great laptop? No worries, you've got options! Firstly, dive into the game settings and lower all those graphical details to the minimum. Think of it as giving your laptop a breather. Shadows, texture details, shader details - push them all way down. Also, consider setting your resolution lower; it might make everything look a bit 2001, but your FPS (frames per second) will thank you. If you're still struggling, search online for custom configs from other players. These are pre-set configurations designed to minimize visual load and maximize performance. Just remember, it might not be pretty, but those sweet, sweet FPS gains will be worth it!

Lol, just throw the laptop out and get a new one. JK, but seriously, aside from turning all the settings down, make sure to keep your laptop cool. A cooling pad can do wonders for performance by preventing thermal throttling. Overheating is the enemy of FPS.

Honestly, just upgrade. I tried everything on my old laptop, and it was never really playable until I got a better one.
