Honestly, black bars aren't that big of a deal. Embrace them, it's how the pros play and it might actually help you focus better on the center of the screen!

Just set your game to windowed mode then back to full screen. Fixes it for me every time!

To get rid of the black bars in CS:GO without using Nvidia, go into the game settings and look for the aspect ratio option. Change it to 'Widescreen 16:9' or whatever aspect ratio fits your monitor. If that doesn't work, you might need to adjust your monitor settings directly through its own menu, looking for an aspect ratio or screen fit option. Also, don't forget to check your Windows Display settings to make sure your resolution matches what CS:GO is trying to display!

Go into your GPU's control panel (AMD or Intel), find the display settings, and there should be an option to scale the image to full panel size. This usually gets rid of the black bars. Worked for my AMD setup!
