If you just want to specifically target the radar, 'cl_radar_always_centered 0' might help but won't remove it completely. Short answer: You can't just remove the radar without taking a chunk of the HUD with it. 'cl_drawhud 0' in console will make it all vanish, radar included. Not ideal if you're attached to the rest of the HUD.

Fun fact: I tried playing without the radar for a challenge and, let me tell ya, it's like trying to navigate a maze blindfolded. You don't realize how much you rely on it until it's gone. Still, 'cl_drawhud 0' in the console does the trick if you're up for a real test.
