Running a CFG file in CS:GO is pretty straightforward! Just move your CFG file into the CS:GO cfg folder, which is usually located at [Steam folder] > steamapps > common > Counter-Strike Global Offensive > csgo > cfg. Then, launch CS:GO, open the console with the '~' key, and type 'exec filename.cfg', replacing 'filename' with the name of your CFG file. And voila, your CFG settings should now be active!

Honestly, most times you won't even need a CFG file. CS:GO is pretty great out of the box. But for those who wanna tweak, the exec method works fine.

Short and sweet: Drop your CFG in the cfg folder, exec it in the console with 'exec yourfile.cfg'. Make sure to replace 'yourfile' with the actual name of your file. Done and dusted!
