How to Save Settings in CS:GO

Easy peasy! To save your CS:GO settings, just create an autoexec.cfg file in your CS:GO cfg folder. Put all your custom commands in there. This way, every time you start the game, it'll load these settings automatically. You can find the cfg folder in the CS:GO directory, usually under Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\cfg. If you're not into coding much, don't worry! Just copy the settings you want from your config.cfg file, then paste them into your new autoexec.cfg.

Autoexec is overrated. Just customize your settings in-game and they'll save automatically, why bother with files?

Listen, the best way to save your settings is through the cloud. Make sure your Steam Cloud is enabled in Steam's settings. This way, your settings, keybinds, and configs get automatically synced online. So, even if you switch computers, your settings follow you without the hassle of transferring files.
